When agents manually trade shifts (often to accumulate full weeks of PTO), they cannot request time off in Assembled for the days they actually worked because those days fall outside their original schedule rules.
Current Workflow:
  • Agents manually trade shifts (e.g., Agent A works Monday for Agent B, who works Friday for Agent A)
  • Agent A wants to request PTO for the Friday they worked
  • Assembled blocks the PTO request because Friday isn't in Agent A's schedule rules
  • Support team must manually edit schedule rules for every occurrence
  • Customers track these trades outside the system due to this limitation
Proposed Solution:
Update PTO request validation to check published schedules (what agents actually worked) instead of only schedule rules (what agents were originally scheduled to work).
