Assembled should allow admins or systems to surface real-time banners or alert messages directly within the Real-Time Dashboard.
Today, RTAs and support leads rely on external tools (like Slack or internal dashboards) to communicate critical updates -- for example, system outages, service degradations, VTO/VTO freezes, or volume spikes. Because Assembled is already the source of truth for live staffing and queue monitoring, it would be far more efficient to display these messages directly in-app where RTAs and supervisors are actively working.
Ideal functionality might include:
• A manual banner post that admins can create within Assembled (e.g., “System outage in progress – expect longer handle times”)
• Optional API or webhook triggers so banners can post automatically from internal status systems or incident tools
• Duration and visibility controls (e.g., “show for 2 hours,” “show only to specific queues or roles”)
This feature would reduce the need to context-switch between tools, help teams make faster intraday decisions, and bring more transparency to real-time operations.
